Ford ... turnaround?

was watching Ford turnaround (re-run from last year) on CNN. One of the first things that Alan Mulally did is to take his top management to talk about consumer surveys - he took his team to Consumer Surveys group in Connecticut.

Nothing beats that ... top management directly contacting a customer !!

I feel that is an essential Product Management principle. I am long on Ford!
